  1. I don't believe that alcohol is a contributing factor to bloodshed. I believe that alcohol is bad for you, but if the people still drink it knowing its effects then what they do while intoxicated should be on them. Its not an excuse, and I think people shouldn't consume it if they cant control their actions.

  2. I think alcohol springs up violence in the cities, & to me i think it should be banded Monday-Friday & Sunday! This Would Help the people drinking the Alcohol and would save alot of families those who have a family member that is stuggling with being a alcholic, & also cut down alot of crime. Alcohol is just like any other drug out there and your bond to do anything while doing drugs or drinking Alcohol!

  4. 1.) Ignoring the religious connotation, I would have to agree that alcohol is indeed problematic in modern society.

2.) It most certainly is a factor in violent crimes, regardless if the criminal or the victim was drunk.

3.) I think it is a contributing factor in the death and violence in the world today. I personally don't drink, but my 17 year old little brother does, and it has gotten him into nothing but trouble.

  6. I do not believe alcohol is a contributing factor to the bloodshed, people who cant control their actions when they drink shouldn't, but that doesn't mean that their going to stop. Not all alcohol is going to lead to violence, but a lot of it could depending on who is drinking is and how they control themselves.

  8. alcohol can have many negative effects on people if its not drunk in moderation. Alcohol can be a factor to violent behavior, you should not even have possession of alcohol if you are not responsible and above age

  9. Alcohol is spurring our cities to violence. i think it is one of many factors contributing to the bloodshed because there is a lot of people drinking and fighting with other people and there are people that are dieing from alcohol and they got a high leavel of alcohol in there body.

  10. Alcohol clouds your judgement and allows you to do things you wouldn't normally do, so of course its a factor of violence and bloodshed. If you take someone and add alcohol and things can always get out of hand especially if the person is angry, depressed, or stressed out. Those people do tings they don't really mean to do and then once they can think clear enough to realize what they've done they cant take it back.

  11. 1.violent angry people shouldn't drink I don't think it's devils water it makes us feel good and it's been passed down for generations.
It is a factor that drunk people act crazy and maybe they are more violent cause they are not functioning right and I have seen alcohol lead to some bad things theirs your proof it increases the violence. Its just one of many factors to the bloodshed.

  12. 1.) I don't think its a problem because it does not make sense to say that alcohol is the "reason" for violence. In the article they were mainly talking about the "young people" causing the violence like somebody 45 year old's can't cause any violence. Not everybody can handle there alcohol. People need stop saying because they where drunk that's why I did it. Take up for your actions. You want to do something there goes your consequence. Not everybody is the same drunk. You got the people that act crazy, the people that chills, and the people who just want to do dumb stuff to get caught up.

    2.)Its not a factor

  13. No I do not feel that alcohol a devil water spurring our cities to violence. As far is it being a factor I can agree. I honestly feel if you cannot handle your everyday life in a normal manner then alcohol should not even come to your mind. The simple fact it can increase depression causing suicide, increase rage and cause random acts of violence or to carry out an act of violence on a person you have knowing youd normally leave alone if sober, and if can cause you to have an unclear mind and be physically impaired causing problems for everyone around you not just yourself especially if youre driving drunk. Drinking alcohol and not being able to keep yourself under control can increase bloodshed.
