1.I like new york city taxi cab drivers they are a part of September 11's hero's 2.16 hours from 7:am to 11:pm3.21.3 billion to 31.5 billion
My reaction to the article, it was nice to acually see other human beings lookin out for each other, with out gettin something in return.Adler worked for about 16 hours a day.23.9 billion
Thanks for all of the nice comments. Jacob, I love that you added without getting something in return. That is a nice thing to see. When you are calculating the range, you should subtract the numbers. Thanks,Ms. Straight
1.) My opinion of the article is a bit more objective than most people would like. I was impressed by how most New Yorkers reacted to the situation as it unfolded, BUT I also had to acknowledge that the terrorist's plan was well thought out and well executed. That is how I feel about 9/11/01.2.) Before the pier switched to a twelve-hour schedule, he volunteered for about fifteen hours.3.) 2000-2001: $21,300,000,000 2001-2004: $18,500,000,000 (-2,800,000,000) 2004-2010: $24,300,000,000 (+5,800,000,000) 2010-Present: $31,500,000,000 (+7,200,000,000)
1. My initial reaction to this article was that Adler had helped on his on free will & was willing to risk losing everything just to help out others from the 9/11 attack and not once had his hand out seeking anything in return.2. Adler was working 16 hour shifts daily but even when the Pier switched to 12 hours shifts he still continued to take passengers.3. The range of tourists spending from 2000 to 2010 was about $20-$31 million a year
