Please click on the link to read the article:  State may count hours

After you have read the article, please write in a well developed paragraph how you feel about this and what effect this will have for parents at home and also students.  Also consider what effect this would have on a school such as Focus where the students do not attend all day.

I think that it might be a good idea to mandate a certain amount of hours kids have to be in school not how many days. i might help focus on learning hours rather than days in school.

  2. well i think that it is kind of ridiculous.I don't really care that doesn't effect focus really. but i think its much simpler how it is now.the days system is better than how many hours.it just shortens the days an there will be less time for students to catch up.

  3. I think this would be a good idea. I think this woould be a good idea because, the kis would get out of school early in the summer i would say and they would like that alot more and going to school longer hours the kids could learn alot more than what they would normal hours of school.

  4. I think its a good idea because if you (like me) stay at school until the very end of the day you can and will get more work done plus it's very quiet if students stay in school longer than 1-4 hours a day especially at focus they will get more credits and they will graduate quicker than most
